Greetings in the Name of the Risen Lord
The most powerful, unbelievable, and important words ever spoken were uttered in a cemetery, 2000 years ago. A group of grief stricken women sought to anoint the body of their dead leader. Instead, they heard an angel say, “He is not here, He is risen as He said . . .” These words changed the world. Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified, rose from the dead. Centuries later, the world still acknowledges those words that heralded the greatest event of all time. Christians believe them to be true. None believers still honor Easter. Therefore, Easter is a holiday for some and a Holy Day for others. It is the day Christians celebrate the ultimate act of love and power. Jesus died to pay the price for our sins. Then, He rose from the dead to declare victory over death, the consequence of sin . . . Hallelujah! . . . Hallelujah!!! Come celebrate with us!
